It is a simple bearing having a cylindrical roller and a raceway in line contact. Load capacity is large and mainly applies radial load. It is suitable for high-speed rotation because the friction between the rolling element and the collar of the race is small. Mainly steel stamped cages and copper alloy machined cages are used, but some polyamide molded cages are also used.
